Summer may be short in the Eastern Sierra, but some amazing businesses are only open seasonally here and they are absolutely worth visiting. All photos taken by each business listed.
Latte Da Cafe in Lee Vining
This little cafe/hotel serves great breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks. The outdoor seating is full of green grass and wildflowers. The perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday morning!
Mono Cone in Lee Vining
The best soft serve ice cream cones in the Eastern Sierra. Mono Cone is greasy fast food done right. It’s cash only, so swing by an ATM before you go.
Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining
A classic that almost everyone knows about! The infamous Whoa Nellie Deli in the Mobil Mart gas station has excellent food but an even better lawn to sit in to decompress after a long Yosemite day.
Silver Lake Resort Cafe in June Lake
Silver Lake Resort is a blast from the past, and it’s one of my favorite places for a big, hearty breakfast. They typically open just in time for the beginning of fishing season in the end of April.
Cardinal Village Cafe Pizza Night in Bishop
Tucked in the Bishop Creek canyon by Aspendell, Cardinal Village Resort is a lodge that feels preserved in the past. Their summer pizza nights are family style and full of charm.
